Cannot Connect to the Virtual Machine Try to Connect Again Hyperv 2012 R2
Tips about Windows 10or 11 HyperV Virtual Machine Connectivity Issue? I accept a Dell Precision M4600 laptop and did a clean Windows x or 11 installs on the M4600. I enabled Hyper-5, and I was able to launch the Hyper-5 console.
I was able to create virtual machines and build them using ISO; however, whenever I tried to connect to the VM from the Hyper-V console, it gave me the following mistake.
I'm able to resolve the result with a very dirty workaround:) I will explain that muddy thing that I did to resolve the issue at the stop of this post!! Trying to keep the suspense:-D.

Notwithstanding, I could see that the VM was working fine from the HyperV console screen below!

I've reinstalled Windows 10 with the clean image using bootable DVD and enabled Hyper-V. Tips near Windows 10 HyperV Virtual Auto Connectivity Issue?
I was able to create a Virtual Machine and connect it to the machine using the Hyper-5 console. Check the name of the laptop car DESKTOP-TES8VBQ (base motorcar) for future reference.
The Windows 10 laptop name was the default one, "DESKTOP-TES8VBQ" and I wanted to change the laptop proper name to something easily recognizable. Some names similar I used on the first screenshot are "Anoop-Dell-Prec".
So, I renamed the laptop (to Anoop-DELL-M460) using the method mentioned in the following post, "How to Rename Windows 10 automobile". After the rename and restart of the Windows 10 machine, I tried to connect to the Hyper-V console. OH !! It gave me a different error, as noted below 🙁
An error occurred while attempting to connect to server "Anoop-DELL-M460", Check that the Virtual Machine Management service is running and that you are authorized to connect to the server. Tips about Windows ten HyperV Virtual Machine Connectivity Issue.
So this gives me an idea about the issue? Whatsoever guesses 🙂 Yes, the rename or change of the Windows 10 auto name is causing Hyper-V console and connectivity problems in Windows 10. I don't know what the fix for this issue is or is there any easy workaround for this or non.
All the same, I resolved the issue by rebuilding my Dell Precision M4600 laptop with Windows 10 clean image. I kept the default name which Windows 10 selected automatically. When you try to modify the name of the Windows 10 machine, the Hyper-Five doesn't like it. My With default name, Hyper-V, is happy so every bit for me !!!
I faced this trouble only with one of my laptops, and the other laptop's Hyper-5 is working fine even subsequently renaming the machine.
